Did a one day course here, loved it. Great team, ran through the whole course quite quickly, we had enough time to make three pieces. It was an amazing experience working with glass. I would highly recommend.

Me and my wife had a fantastic day glass blowing with Jonathan, I cant recommend it enough, if you are interested in trying glass blowing then book a lesson, my wife arranged this as an anniversary present as I've always found it fascinating.
Jonathan is a great teacher, patient and generous, explaining the processes and helping you to understand the materials and tools, the 1 day course is aimed at beginner's with no experience (That's me) yet you really get to experience so much that by the end of the day all you will be thinking about is when you can do it again!
Thank you Jonathan for an awesome day 👍

This is a relaxed and friendly course. Jonathan creates a lovely atmosphere in which to learn in his spacious studio. Jonathan's masterpieces are a delicate blend of angelic beauty and deceptive mass.
Jonathan allows you to make what you want whilst teaching you all the basics of glass blowing. It is somewhat liberating being able to let your imagination run wild rather than adhereing to set of predetermined projects.
I could not recommend enough. It's lots of fun and very comprehensive.
It's mesmerising to see a master glass blower work. After seeing Jonathan work, I now understand that just how unequivocally skilled this man is.

Last Saturday my wife and I did a full day workshop with Jonathan. We’ve done a lot of different experience/ workshop days and this was the best.
The workshop was clean, spacious and well equipped. Jonathan is a great guy, a very good tutor and he explained things clearly. He started us off with some small technique pieces before moving on to making a paperweight before lunch. In the afternoon we made vases and baubles. We had lots of choice over our designs with a Jonathan guiding us to ensure it was achievable.
Jonathan’s own work is stunning, and to have someone of that standard teaching us was great. The fact that it was just two of us in the class meant the day flowed well.
We’re already thinking we might make a return visit. Worth every penny.
There’s a very good little cafe on site, so our lunch break was a real treat too.

What a fantastic experience. Jonathan is a wonderful and patient teacher who cannot fail to inspire in this artisan craft. I booked as a 50th birthday treat for my girlfriend who had always wanted to do glass blowing. I couldn't resist adding myself too and how delighted was I that I did - we had such a brilliant time and made some beautiful pieces. This was such fun and so much more than I could have ever hoped for. We are booking to go again and I couldn't recommend Jonathan and his amazing skills more highly.

My dad and I had an excellent day learning with Jonathan! He is clearly extremely talented, but very patient with students and easy to get along with. He takes only two people for a course, so we were fully immersed the whole day and had the opportunity to get creative. We loved the pieces we made. Overall it was very comfortable and fun!

Awesome day with Jonathan. Was a surprise present for my wife who got obsessed watching glass blowing while on a cruise. She got the chance to make some really fantastic pieces. His tuition style is great and very patient. He has some amazing pieces in his studio so if you are looking for that distinctive piece of art or a day experience then well worth a visit.

Had a wonderful day learning to work glass. It was amazing. Jonathan is so knowledgeable and such a great teacher. I loved the fact that I got to make something entirely out of my imagination rather than just a set piece. He's very generous with his time and putting his equipment, in the hands of rank amateurs is so brave! Jonathon's own pieces are amazing, and I'm so envious of his incredible skill. My weird productions won't be nearly as graceful but they will be my ideas and I'm so chuffed about that. We had SUCH a great day! I'm plotting how to do it again.

I’ve done at least eight days of one-to-one glass courses with Jonathan as well as six four-hour small group classes and I cannot recommend him highly enough as a teacher. He’s patient and friendly and very good indeed at coaxing out the best in students – from beginners upwards. He is extremely generous with his knowledge and with his facilities – which are excellent. It’s also very reassuring to be taught by someone who has had such a thorough grounding in the craft himself and gone on to achieve truly outstanding work of his own. I will most certainly be doing more courses with Jonathan in the near future.
