A great shop that sells nearly everything you need with a large free car park too 😃

Just been advised that despite paying for goods last week with a Scottish £5 note (just happened to be in my wallet and thought was easier than making a 99pence purchase with a debit card), I'm informed today (one week later) that they don't take these Scottish notes and had saved it in the till to present back to me today. Unless I'm mistaken (and happy to have anyone inform me otherwise), Scottish notes are still legal tender in England (both of which are still part of the UK). Bizarrely, I can still go to the post office and use it!

Worth a detour. Nice Alex Clark gifts for Xmas. Some quality items from independent specialist companies such as 'cookes frozen foods' and 'saffron ice cream' as examples

Normally a really cool little shop, but the last couple of times i've tried to go there the post office was closed and this time the whole shop was closed. Not great as I'm giving it 1 star for the inconvenience not for the shop
