Just wonderful. Welcomes dogs. Healthy brunch. Delicious coffee. And abundant cakes- with local berries in season. What more could you want?

The best afternoon tea I have ever had. The service was so personable and the afternoon tea was incredible. Would highly recommend.
Dietary restrictions: So accommodating to our dietary needs, and they really did have something for everyone, when it came to their afternoon tea.
Parking: Small car park on grounds plus an overflow option.

Really lovely place. Great amenities for cyclists. Fantastic menu, options for big or small meals and everything is delicious. Excellent coffee and lots of homemade cake to choose from. All reasonably priced too, and they take contactless. Can't think of anything I'd improve!
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options - all clearly labelled, delicious and well executed.

Best breakfast place ever (shure all other food is fantastic also )visiting England. What better start of the day sitting outside or inside this very nice looking place. The dogs beside you, quiet area, eggs, bacon a fresh brewed pot of tea 😉 The staff is also sooo friendly and i loved chatting with you all. 4 of 6 mornings spent there and the dogs sayd hello every time. Eaven the other customers is very friendly at Poppys Barn. Will shure return next time i'm in the Saffron Walden area. So sad to hear about the lovely sweet Poppey who passed away just a few days after i went back to Norway. Hugs from Norway ❤️

Searched for a place to eat near where we were and this tea room popped up. I would advise calling and reserving as they were very busy. They did fit us in which was nice. We had the poppies breakfast and breakfast tea which came in a glass tea pot with tea leaves. Overall the staff were friendly and nice, breakfast was served hot and quick. Lovely place

A great stop for cyclists. The menu has a lot of choices with a good selection of vegan options too. The staff were welcoming, helpful & polite. If you’re in the area, make a diversion and pop in!

Really good well prepared and presented food , delicious food wether your gluten, lactose intolerant or a vegan something sufficient to make you go wow for most allergies and pallets . Coffee from a range of countries to purchase as well as vegan chocolates dogs seem to be welcome to. The presentation is exceptional . Friendly youthful service well presented interior and experience.

I came to Poppy's barn for mother's day with my family. We had two normal afternoon teas and two vegan.
All the food was absolutely amazing. We weren't sure what to expect with the vegan versions but they had been prepared so thoughtfully, we didn't feel like we were missing out in the slightest.
We ate all the sandwiches which were absolutely delicious and we now have plenty of cakes to enjoy over the upcoming days.
The team were all lovely and seemed to have a real passion for what they were doing.
Can't wait to visit again!
